Mediation: As mediators, we create a structured, confidential forum that fosters candid communication and constructive negotiation. Our approach emphasizes early engagement, reality testing, and the drafting of clear, enforceable settlement agreements that reflect the parties’ objectives and minimize the risk of future disputes. Arbitration: Our arbitration services provide a streamlined, predictable pathway to final resolution when parties seek a binding determination outside of court. Meet Debra
TLR is led by Debra Turner. Debra has been practicing law for more than 30 years. She began her career as a litigation attorney and trial counsel, serving as lead counsel in personal injury, trucking, construction defect, product liability, insurance fraud, fire and arson, and professional malpractice cases. Debra has tried more than 20 cases to verdict. Over the course of her career, she has handled numerous high-stakes arbitrations involving multi-million-dollar demands.
After 22 years as trial counsel, Debra transitioned to in-house coverage counsel for a major insurance company. In addition to providing guidance on policy interpretation, she managed litigation filed against and on behalf of the company, including developing the overall litigation strategy and comprehensive trial plans.
After retiring from active litigation practice, Debra now focuses her time on providing mediation, arbitration, and special master/hearing master services. In addition to her practice as founder of TLR, she currently serves as Judge Pro Tempore and Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore for Las Vegas Justice Court, and as an Arbitrator, Short Trial Judge, and Mediator for Nevada’s Mandatory Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
She graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Economics and received her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
